Well here I am. Yes, I am still alive. I have been lighting up twitter with both of my accounts (@suffer_live & @StayStrongBox).
Christmas was a hard time this year with trying to be mindful of my pain and my limitations, yet still help the wife around the house while she is at work. One of my biggest struggles is overdoing any chores or work. However, an even bigger struggle is trying to have the wife trust that I am actually in pain, and not just faking it to get out of doing chores!
Recently, my wife has been helping me with the launch of the Stay Strong Box (www.StayStrongBox.com). This is a monthly goodie box that is sent to your door every month with products to lighten your day! We harmonize a selection of unique and useful items to assist you with tasks or cheer you up!
Kimberly, my wife, makes boxes for myself and we called them “Flare Up” boxes. They used to take my mind off of the pain, give me encouragement to keep fighting this thing we call life. One of my biggest passions is always putting a smile on everyone’s face, and trying to make them happy. Now, my marriage & personal therapist would tell me that is a negative attribute to my behavior, however, in some forms I see it as a blessing!
Anyways, I want to leave you with a quote, that hopefully will provide you with a great passion to keep fighting. You are a strong person, and if you are reading this right now, I want you to know, I believe in you. If you need any help, I have a section on my home page where you can reach out anonymously. Keep your head high, and God Bless you!
